Mobileye, founded by Amnon Shoshua, the Sachs Family Professor of Computer Science at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, has raised $890 million in its initial public offering (July, 2014) —the largest-ever IPO of an Israeli company in the US. Mobileye is a collision avoidance system that uses cameras and sensors to watch the road and alert drivers to potential collisions with other vehicles and pedestrians.
